These Lazy Sundays was a game I co-created for GX.Games' New Year, New Jam Competition in 2023 and was one of the 10 winners, with 500,000+ plays.

The theme was 'relax' and we decided to create a game where relaxing is the goal for the (human) character seen on the screen lounging on the sofa, and the player, taking the role of their loyal dog, has to make sure to combat all the distractions and sources of stress. We thought it'd be fun to have 'relaxing' as the goal, and the game experience not so much, which can be our experience sometimes. We used a minimal art style, calm music and of course sound effects to accompany the actions/game. I was responsible of the game art as well as the game design, in addition to sourcing the sound effects and music.

It’s just another one of those lazy Sundays, and it’s your job to make sure it stays that way.
There are all sorts of nuisances that can disrupt your human and it’s a dog’s duty to put a stop to them before they cause too much stress.
